Preason training camp 2023

It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the start of the 2023 Baseball season. Here is the sequence of activities during the first weeks for the categories U9 to U18:

**Please note that for U15 and U18 categories, the preseason training will be held in collabration with the other Western associations.

April 22-23

Start of the U9 to U18 training camp on the Grande-Rivière synthetic field at 100 Broad Street. A parent information meeting will take place 15 minutes after the start of each session. Please note that our partner Sports aux puces Aylmer will be on site to present their porducts ans answer your questions. 

April 29-30

Start of U9 to U18 evaluations to form Level A and B teams and training camp continuity. The activities will take place on the synthetic land of the Grande-Rivière school at 100 Broad Street For this weekend. Sports aux puces will also be on site. Bring your energy to cheer for our athletes that will live a great and dynamic experience where they will surpass their limits in a fun environment.

6 and 7th of May

Continuity of evaluations and training camp 

For U9 to U11: Aydelu baseball field

For U13 to U18: Aydelu baseball field and UQO synthetic field. Check the schedule as the groups will be changed.

8 to 12th May

Continuity of evaluations and training camp on the baseball fields. Schedules will be shared with you at the appropriate time.

13 to 24th of May

Composition of teams for the season and start of team’s practices.

28th of May 

Let the season begin! Schedules will be sent to you at the appropriate time.

Do you have your equipment?

For the first week, the player must minimally have a baseball glove, a baseball helmet with two ear protectors and outdoor or studded running shoes. (Rubber cleats are recommended for U11 and above levels. Use of metal cleats is permitted from U15.)

Starting in the third week, the player must have his own baseball bat. When training the teams, the player will have to wear grey baseball pants in order to wear them during the games.

An athletic support with protective shell for men or a protector for women are also strongly suggested.

You can find your equipment at retailers near you or used on resale sites. Details will be posted on our website a few days before the event.
